(Formerly known as the Rational Compassionate Living website.)
What it is: A collection of things I've written and created over the years, some of which I hope others may find entertaining or useful.
My motto: "Advocating ethics through empathy & treading lightly upon the Earth."
Art
At age 64 I began to create digital "paintings" using Blender, Makehuman, GIMP, and other software tools. This page features the artwork I have made thus far.

Click on the thumbnail or title to be taken to a new window with the painting at normal resolution. Then click the image in that window to see enlarged details. Using F11 to toggle full-screen mode is also recommended. When done viewing, click your browser's back button [or Alt-Left-arrow] to return here.

Each painting is accompanied by a link to a document where I give my notes on the piece: what I intended to convey, what my influences may have been, etc. You are encouraged to form your own ideas before reading mine; oftentimes viewers find more profound meanings [and, of course, personal associations] than the artist could've conceived.
