  Moses

And Moses said unto them, "Have ye saved all the women alive? Behold, these caused the children of Israel... to commit trespass against the LORD... Now, therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."
Numbers 31:15-18

Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.
Number 12:3

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Matthew 5:5

Fished out of the depths
of the midnight of our subconscious,
plaguing disowned would-be parents
in fantastic rebellions
while always afraid
to even speak to them
except through a brother or god
by your side:

Meekest of men,
how you grasped
with thousands of hands
a promised inheritance
never gained.

Breaking
    stone laws,
    hymens,
    and necks,
you trod the people down
with tireless torches and swords,
heroically.

The first to tie devotion
in a blood-soaked package.
The first to turn racism
into godly genocide.
How could you know,
in your righteous zeal
for doing God's work,
someday Hitler would emulate you
against your own people?
